The Young Art Masters Auction showcases the talents of local student artists and raises funds for the art programs that nurture those talents. Wellington residents Jeremy and Margaret Jacobs have provided supplies to four area public high school, enabling the students to create pieces for the auction. Each piece interprets the theme “Palm Beach County – through the eyes of young artists.”
In 2014, Young Art Masters held its first auction for Wellington area schools, featuring 40 pieces of art created by students from four area public schools. For many student artists, Young Art Masters provided their first experience painting large canvases or shooting photographs to be displayed for a public audience.
The online auction program brings recognition to the students, whose work is viewed thousands of times both online and in person, and it raises thousands of dollars for the four high school art programs.
